Christmas time is always a good time to slow down a bit and look back to the last year. In our case that last year was an incredible one, with lots of adventures, new cultures, high mountains, oceans, deep gorges and incredible landscapes. We met a lot of interesting, helpful, friendly and nice people and are very happy to have met every single one of them. Of course we also met some people (fortunately few) who weren’t overly nice, but luckily never bad people.
We have travelled to the other side of the world, at least from a swiss perspective and are looking forward to the next year of travelling. Of course we are hoping for a bit more luck on the car side, which was missing a bit in the last two months.
We hope that all people who celebrate Christmas have a great time with their families or friends. We will think of all those people who helped us a lot during our trip, we were extremely lucky to have met so many generous people. Interestingly enough language barriers were never really an obstacle – although in many cases we couldn’t get answers to the many questions we had. And there are always many of those, when you travel in unknown territories.
Of course christmas is not christmas without a wishlist-ours is very short this year. We would like to hear (by email) from you, so all of you who have some time, could sit down for a few minutes and write us an email. We are always interested in hearing what’s going on in peoples lifes.
Merry christmas
Liliane, Lola and Jan
